“I’ve only been here a little over a year. But compared to last year, I feel like he’s become a lot more outspoken and a lot more willing to tell us what he thinks,” Murray said of Fox. Murray said of Fox, “I talk to him on breaks and I talk to him on the court. It’s cool to see him progress.”
Murray and Fox helped the Kings win 48 games last season. The Sacramento Kings made the playoffs for the first time since 2006.
Although the Kings lost to the Golden State Warriors in seven games in the first round, the team has a bright future with Fox, Murray and Domantas Sabonis leading the way.

“He talks to me every day,” Murray said of Fox.” We’re competitive with each other. It’s a great dynamic. It helps a lot in the playoffs. We’re together every day, pushing me, keeping me going, things like that. It’s like a big brother and little brother relationship. It’s fun to be with him.”
Fox made 73 appearances for the Kings last season. He averaged 25.0 points, 4.2 rebounds and 6.1 assists per game. The lefty made his first All-Star appearance and was named to the All-NBA third team.
