Flexibility in and out! Lakers Reach Big Three Thanks to Hachimura

Flexibility in and out! Lakers Reach Big Three Thanks to Hachimura post thumbnail image

In the 22-23 postseason, Hachimura is shooting 66.8% true and averaging 12.8 points per game. By schedule progression, this can be broken down as follows:

  Against the Grizzlies in the first round, 68.7% true shooting and 14.5 ppg;

  Second round against the Warriors, 70.6% true shooting and 7.8 ppg;

  Western Conference against the Nuggets, 61.7% true shooting percentage, averaging 15.3 points.

  In terms of data, regardless of which opponent they face in the playoffs, Hachimura Kashimoto’s efficiency on the offensive end is not bad. Here are two more comments:

  One, the second round against the Warriors, because of the lack of speed, was Ham deliberately reduce the opportunity; and two, the true shooting rate in the Western Conference is higher than that of James Brow – James 60.5%, Brow 60.4%.

  In the playoffs, the reason why Hachimura Kashi’s offensive efficiency is not bad, I think it lies in two points:

  One, holding the shot. 70.2% of his 8.2 field goal attempts came from two points, with 58.5% of those being assisted. In other words, nearly half of the two-point shots come from the holding shot (autonomous offense).

  Among the two-point shots, Hachimura was primarily a mid-range shooter.

  From the vestigial view of the game, Kashiwazaki Hachimura can end the offense through the mid-range like Leonard face up or back to the basket. Especially near the free throw line, almost a hundred shots.

  In fact, Satoru Hachimura shot 55.6% from mid-range in the playoffs. The hitting percentage is enough to rival superstars like Durant and Leonard.

  Second, three points. In the playoffs, Hachimura Kashimoto shot 48.7% three-point rate, although this was achieved under the field average of 2.4 shots resulting in a small sample, but the problem is that when the opportunity arises to be able to grasp very well.

  As an aside, Hachimura still had a 39.8% three-point percentage when defenders were within 4 feet of him in a high-intensity defense. In other words, a strong three-point shot that most players don’t have.

  Of course, because of the improvement in three-points, it has allowed Kashiwazaki to present a deathless shooting on the offensive end.

  Based on his performance in the playoffs, I think that Satoru Hachimura has reached superstar status on the offensive end alone.

  Reason #1: Ability. As I said earlier, the improvement in three-point shooting allows Kashiwazaki to have almost no shooting corners on offense, and he has the ability to hold the shot to deal with different defensive patterns and intensities.

  Reason 2: Consistency. Unlike teammate Russell, Hachimura Kashimoto can do a good job of ensuring scoring efficiency against different opponents. The reason why the average score is not high, more in the opportunity rather than ability.

  The above two points, is the superstar in the offensive end of the two most important points, and Hachimura Jiao still have.

  In addition, can not be ignored and the Lakers completed a three-year 51 million contract extension after Hachimura Kashi’s cost-effective. Potentially, later if a superstar emerges in the trade market can become very competitive chips.

  That is to say, the Lakers in the Hachimura Kashi point in and out of flexibility. Of course, whether the trade superstar in my opinion is not important, after all, the presence of Hachimura Kenshi, at this stage the Lakers are already Zhan Mei + Hachimura Kenshi’s trio mode.
